We all have stress now and then, but why do we have this stress? If you really think about it then you will see that if you have stress, it will always be related to fear. Stress is nothing else than fear. You are afraid of what you have learned from your ancestors. All this information of what your parents and grandparents and great grandparents and so on have learned, is stored within your memory.
So what does this memory say to you if for example you want a new job. This job is not good for you, I’m a looser or you can not earn enough to support your family, I can not do this job, what will people think of me… And so on and so on and so on. There is always that little voice inside your head that keeps you away from what you really want and that brings stress into your life.
But if you try to re-connect with your inner child you will see soon enough what the real purpose of your life is. Think about what you wanted to do when you were a child or a teenager. What kept you away from doing this? What did your parents or teachers say about it? All this information is stored in your brain and every time you are in such a situation that you have to choose, this little voice inside your head will respond with what you have learned in life. It wil keep on saying “oh don’t do this or that, listen to me I know what’s good for you” and before you realize you experience a lot of stress.
It is difficult to ignore that little voice, I am also still struggling with it. Each time I hear it I say to myself. “It is ok to be here, I heard you, now you can go” and after that I do the Ho’oponopono exercise. In a next post I will explain what Ho’oponopono means to me and how I use it in my life.
It is very important that you are free again, free of self-defeating thoughts that keep you away from the things you really want to do in your life. Freedom of thinking, free of self-judgement, free of guilt, free of stress……..You all deserve that!
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.
